Guilty

March 20, 2008

I know I shouldn’t have done it.
My 1-year-old son was about to take a bath, but I was caught up reading comic books in a different room. You see, giving kids bath has always been my job.

High school

March 15, 2008

Tonight I ran the sound for a talent show at a high school. My old buddy asked me to help out.
High school has always felt like an odd place to me. There are such huge gaps in development among kids. Some are practically adults — physically, and sometimes mentally. Others are [...]

Raise Me

March 14, 2008

My web site can’t accommodate this. I can’t make my web site put [...]

Ambition bites the nails of success

February 24, 2008

My family and I had a great day today. It was everything I wanted in a weekend day — relaxing, fun, bonding, and productive. I think it was the first weekend day in a long time, when I felt relaxed despite staying home all day with kids. Usually I brace myself for [...]

Online Task Management

February 22, 2008

I’ve spent a good deal of time this week looking at organization tools for my day job. It requires keeping track of little tasks that need to be done in a timely manner — this task every Monday, that task Tuesday and Thursday, and so on.

Maintenance

You never drive a car without filling up the gas, do you?
No, I don’t do that with cars. I’m sure you don’t, either.
